Enzymatic features

Lipase MY shows non-regioselectivity and hydrolyzes triacylglycerols almost thoroughly into fatty acids and glycerol. In addition, lipase MY has a high activity on cholesterol esters.
Lipase MY has been used as a pharmaceutical ingredient in Japan, and manufactured in compliance with Pharmaceutical GMP.
