Benefits of MHF-Y in Chickens

Studies have pointed to a number of benefits associated with MHF-Y. MHF-Y supplementation resulted in reduced intestinal salmonella counts (Fig. 1) and reduced migration of Salmonella and E. coli to other organs (Dr. Tellez, National Autonomous University of Mexico), indicating that MHF-Y effectively prevents infectious disease in chickens. Furthermore, chickens fed with MHF-Y showed higher egg production (Fig. 2), higher weight gain (Fig. 3), and a better feed conversion ratio (FCR; Fig. 4). Together, these results indicate that MHF-Y supplementation leads to higher productivity in layer and broiler chickens.
